Get within about forty metres and the claim opens. Your phone proves you actually made the trip — five GPS fixes over twenty seconds, real movement, a travel speed a human could manage.

Where do the cards come from?
Every card in the index is a real listing on the Collector Crypt marketplace, physically stored in a third-party vault (PWCC in Tigard, Oregon; PSA Vault in New Castle, Delaware; or OmniVault). We read that marketplace live — we do not hold inventory of our own.
Is the map showing where the cards are?
No. Every card sits in one of three US vaults, and we will never pretend otherwise. The map shows drop locations — real public places, live and claimable right now, where the card goes to whoever gets there first and passes the presence check.
What does it cost me?
Browsing and searching the index is free and always will be. Claiming a funded drop is free too — the card is paid for out of the drop budget, not by you. Buying a card outright is done on Collector Crypt, at their price, with us taking nothing.
How do you stop someone faking their location?
The app takes five GPS readings over twenty seconds; the server accepts a trace only if at least four of them span eighteen seconds or more and the newest is recent. On top of that it checks device motion, whether the travel speed from your last claim is physically possible, your network region, and a card-knowledge question plus a rotating code shown only at the drop. A rejected claim costs you nothing.
What is live right now?
The live marketplace index, search, and 6 drops that are live and claimable today — Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, New York, Chicago and Miami, 23 slots between them. Nobody has claimed one yet, so no card has been bought and nothing has shipped. There is still no token and not one trading fee has been collected — until there is, the drop budget is our own money.
